Strictly's back! Woo hoo!!!!

The professionals' group dance was fantastic!  Matthew Cutler keeping my attention as he always does, still my favourite male professional!  Also what the hell has James Jordan done to his hair??  Looks worse than ever!  The Kopylova-Bennetts are as adorable as always!

Isn't it great to have it back? Even though it felt quite weird watching on a Friday night. And obviously we'll just be camped in front of the TV tomorrow!

My thoughts are quite similar to yours: I was amazed Joe was quite so bad as the bookmakers had him as joint favourite, and they've normally heard training room whispers. Am not that confident right now about my £1 bet on Craig, but at least he was in some kind of time amongst that group dance and few can say the same. Richard Dunwoody was definitely running around looking for his horse at one point, lol.

I thought Ali was head and shoulders above the rest, but several had promise and we all like a 'journey', lol. Linda may need to start packing her bags! My big gripe is Alesha - did she say anything that a member of the audience or us couldn't have said, at a fraction of the salary? She's very nice and very pretty, but I can't see what she adds to it at the moment.

Exactly. I thought she'd talk about performance and musicality or something seeing that's more her area but she really didn't. I was hoping that maybe she was just nervous for her first night but she didn't seem much better tonight. I do like her though so it's a shame.
