I know, it's most likely a red herring and he's probably fake or alternate reality or something. But I reeeally wish it wasn't. Especially after that performance, he'd be amazing!

I would love it too. Especially after that. But I was convinced after they announced he was in the Christmas special that 11 wouldn't be him. But I can dream though. And Colin Baker was in Who before taking the lead role, so it still could work *prays to BBC bosses*

Nah. There's four more specials after this, isn't there? They don't need a new doctor till 2010 and I would imagine they'd give it a lot of thought. Besides, David Morrisey doesn't strike me as the long-running series/contract type.

I want a Christmas like that though! With DT in his long coat!

Maybe they already have ; ) Wouldn't be the first time they bluffed us. And Colin Baker was in Who before he played the Doctor so David Morrisey still could be even if it's not in the Christmas special *fingers crossed* He was amazing in that sneak peek, which I knew he would be. But yes, David Morriseey doesn't tend to be the long term role type but then maybe Who would persuade him?? *fingers crossed*

And definitely, just DT wandering around a Victorian Christmas in that coat would have been fine *swoon* : )

I think its a fake of some kind. Otherwise, wouldn't DM's Doctor have recognised DT's Doctor as himself rather than trying to brush him aside?

I think DM would be good though.
