My random and extremely disjointed thoughts about Supernatural 4x01 - Lazarus Rising.

I loved the episode and the direction it's heading. I do wonder if Ruby's feeling OK, or if she's just trying a new strategy to manipulate Sam. Doesn't want to come between the Winchesters? She spent most of the season trying to get between them!

There's something not quite right about Ruby and her overwhelming helpfulness towards Sam. I thought her saying she didn't want to come between the brothers a little odd. I think she definitely knows more than she's letting on. Seems like everyone has secrets from everyone else except for Bobby. I don't think Bobby has any secrets. :)

Oh, I think Bobby has secrets, just not as big as Sam and Dean's.

Yeah, you're probably right. It's just that Sam and Dean's secrets are of epic proportions.

OMG! This episode was FRAKKIN' FANTASTIC!

1. Your use of Acca Dacca for AC/DC makes me laugh to no end.
2. The quick-cut editing here made me freak! Very cool!
3. Bow legs, FTMFW!!! *swoons*
4. Yes, infinity! Plus, Almost!Shirtless!Dean! Oh Show...you do so know what I cravelike!
5. Kristy is Ruby. My thought on that scene is that she kept her game-face on & faked not knowing Dean because of the whole Sam-using-his-Powers thing, plus Dean hates her ass, PLUS she was probably aware of the Higher Power pulling Dean out & doesn't quite know what to make of it.
6. Brother!Touching! HUUUUUUUGZZZZZZZZZZZ!
7. *cries* That. Was. AWESOME!
8. Oh Sam! *sigh*
9. Castiel = RAWR! I'm so going to need icons!!! Maybe even an animated one of him "spreading his wings"! *hint, hint* Seriously...dude is frickin' HAWT! *is so going to Hell*

4. I think it was Dean's turn to be shirtless. Sam's turn next...
5. If Kristy is Ruby, she and Sam did a brilliant job of keeping their game face on. I've gone back and watched the episode again (five times now) and compared screen caps and I can only conclude that, yep, Kristy is Ruby. I swear that doesn't make sense! *lol* Except, if they didn't do a good job and Dean found out Sammy was sleeping with Ruby he would have freaked the hell out. Although once he eventually finds out now, he's going to freak the hell out twice over.
6. *sigh* BIG HUGS!
7. I think the amulet scene was one of my favourites.
8. Powerful Sam scares me a little but also makes me happy :)
9. Castiel... Castiel... Castiel... I have no words. He was... He was... *sigh* I just hope he comes back. It's about time we got a good lookin' guy on this show. It's been tough having to look at Jared and Jensen over the past three years. ;) ;) ;)

And #5 under Ten Things I Loved is why I'm leaning towards Sam and Ruby pretending to be surprised and/or not knowing about Dean's return.

Now that I've gone back and watched it a few times, I think you might be right. Dean would not be pleased to find his baby brother had shacked up with Ruby.

I got all excited when I saw his tattoo, at least she got something right ;P
And Sammich with Dean's necklace that was just perfect

New!Ruby is fail. But I did like that look of knowing she had when she was in the motel room with the Boys.

It was good seeing the tattoo.
Sam passing the amulet back to Dean was one of my favourite scenes in the episode.

Perhaps the New!Ruby will grow on us. I've watched it about five times now and I'm still missing something in that scene. I did not even consider it being Ruby the first time through, and now going back and watching it knowing that Kristy is Ruby I still don't see anything that indicates Kristy is Ruby. I think I need to watch it again.
