While watching X-Files: The Movie, I went to check something about it on IMDB and while there I noticed the date the first movie was released in Australia was 23-July-1998. X-Files 2 is scheduled for release in Australia on 24-July-2008. That's almost 10 years to the day after the first one. Oh, well. I found it interesting. *g ( Read more... )

It was for me too.
And I think the internet played a huge part in that.
Not long to go!

I was a huge X-Files fan back in the day, and I hated when it all fell apart. I barely watched it the last two years. I am looking forward to the movie, though.

I loved it from the beginning and I watched it religiously until the very end. I get the feeling I was one of the very few who actually enjoyed the final series with Dogget and Reyes. *hides* For the record, I hated the final episode. I felt so cheated after having invested 9 years into the show and that's all they left us with. That's a major reason why I'm looking forward to the movie :)

I love The X-Files. I got my mom hooked on it & we still talk about it to this day. Too bad my plan to get her into Supernatural isn't working out as well. I was also a die-hard Millennium & The Lone Gunmen fan.

Doug Hutchison will always be Tooms to me. Same with Nick Chinlund (Donnie Pfaster)...no matter what character they're playing, I call them by their X-Files name. *is a dork*

I can't wait to see the movie. Hey! I was just browsing at IMDB & I see that Callum Keith Rennie (Roy from Wendigo) is going to be in it!

I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere, but they've got some more pictures & the leaked trailer here.

I think I'm going to have to have a few X-Files marathons to get reacquainted with my favorite Fibbies before July.

One of my best friends and I are like that. It'll still come up in random conversations, usually by means of quotes which get us reminiscing about our fav episodes.

Keep working on getting your mom to watch Supernatural. You never know, she may come round ;)

I remember watching Millennium but I wasn't really a huge fan and The Lone Gunmen never aired here. Or it did but only a couple of episodes :( I miss those guys... I still can't believe CC killed them off!

The new movie is filming in Vancouver so I'm not surprised there's at least one SPN actor in it :) I've always hoped we'd see Nick Lea (Alex Krycek) turn up on Supernatural since he's an Vancouver based actor but I think he's a regular on another show now so I guess there isn't much chance of that.

The leaked trailer got me a little excited but I can't tell whats happening in it! lol. I was too busy laughing at the crowd going spazzy every time Mulder or Scully appeared on the screen ;)

Good luck with the marathon :)

The X-Files used to scare the pants off me. I'd hate to watch it at home alone. I am looking forward to the second movie. Really.

Just make sure you see it in really crowded theatre, with lots of people, and you'll be fine ;)
I wonder how scary it will be...
