Hey Katy;
Use your icon. Adelaide and I are going to a kids halloween party at Cathy's (our Canadian friend) on your birthday. The parents seem to be more excited about it than the kids. Btw, what are you doing for your birthday?

Hi Lisa,

Is Adelaide dressing up for the party? How about you? :) Is Cathy planning on carving any pumpkins? If so, which kind because Butternut Pumpkins just doesn't look right and trying to carve a Queensland Blue... well, no, I wouldn't recommend it. ;)

It would be so much fun having Halloween here. I'm sure we've missed out. We used to get the odd kid knocking on the door but in the past couple of years I don't think we've had any.

Not sure what I'm doing for my birthday besides trying my best to ignore it. It's just another day...

Adelaide is dressing as a scarecrow. :-) I finished putting yellow raffia in her straw hat this evening. :-) Just have to sew some bright patches on the over sized shirt and jeans I got her from the Salvos shop :-) Hopefully Diane will have a minute on Sunday to paint Adelaide's face in a scarecrow kinda fashion. I still have a ghoulish mask somewhere and cloak. Might wear those.

Cathy is planning on carving out a pumpkin. She has a Queensland Blue so I suggested that she carve it with a hacksaw ;-) We had some decent pumpkins in the supermarket last year. No sign of them this year. I will be making some chocolate spiders. Do you use peanut butter in yours or do you omit that? Kinda hard to know with so many kids having peanut allergies.

Hahaha that stick drawing is funny! Hee!

Would it be too much trouble for you to start celebrating Halloween?

I know! What is it with us?!?!

I think whoever created that little stick drawing used me on Tuesday as a model. *nods*

We're missing out big time by not having Halloween here. I wonder if I'd get funny looks if I turned up to work next Wednesday dressed up and carrying a pumpkin under my arm? *g*

Aussies should be celebrating the wonder that is Halloween... I felt very out of place when I lived there and everyone at school looked at me with three heads when I was giving everyone candy.

On the other hand, all Aussies are wicked because of the ratings of super awesomeness!! That's excellent! Now we must work on the North American public. **rubs hands together with glee**

Also you at work is very bloody! Heh heh. I totally snagged that. I have so many people here that would find that crack-tastic!

Yes! Aussies should definitely embrace Halloween. I'm sure we are missing out on a heap of fun. *g*

I'm so ridiculously happy with the ratings for Monday's episode. Hopefully, they can stay over a million for the rest of the season. They are showing SPN here a lot earlier than previous years. Season 2 didn't start screening here until January this year, some four months after it premiered in the USA. Perhaps having it on sooner is helping. May be more people are waiting for it to come on TV rather than downloading it.

Glad you liked the little picture of me at work *wink*

I can think of 2 aussies that will be celebrating Halloween. Jill has planned a family party with all kids etc, Kasey Heather and Megan have planned their outfits, Geoff and Jill have theirs and Jill looked at me saying 'we will have to think about you'! Mum

Mum!

Perhaps you and Dad can go to Walmart and get some hospital scrubs. (I'm sure I saw them in one of their stores...) You could go as House M.D. and Dr. Cuddy, or Terence Elliot...

Love Katy
