Yeah, I kind of figured Hardison would have somehow 'intercepted' the online bets but I didn't realise he was the actual bookie! That was great and so very Hardison.
The only thing I can't figure out, even after watching it again, is whether or not Tank was in on the con in the end.
When Eliot started to Hulk out, I was all screaming for him to kill Tank, but then when he "did", I was like, NOT FOR REALS!!!! Then I decided it had to be part of the con. I was still a little worried though.
I love that Parker decided to add the saxophone to the assorted guns in the dude's vehicle. It was just so...random. *giggles*
It was a great con because it's quite believable that Eliot would kill a guy so even once you've figured the con out (or you think you have) there is still that lingering doubt... perhaps he really did kill Tank.
The saxophone was hilarious! I was waiting to see what the "...and one of those " was. The way the police guy just held up the sax was brilliant. Very funny. :)
Thanks! I totally blame Leverage for the number of times I say, 'seriously' throughout the day. And I loved the scene in the 2x01 when Nate opens the fridge and it's full of Hardison's orange soda. I'm pretty sure that's the moment he thinks, 'I'm stuck with them. *sigh*' :D
Wil Wheaton is such a fanboy! How awesome is it that all three 'kids' are on Twitter now - Beth, Christian, and Aldis! \O/ Add them to John Rogers, Amy Berg, and Dean Devlin and we've got Leverage covered pretty well. :D
Usually as a viewer you can figure out the cons but this time I just had no clue. I don't know if the set up was just done very subtly or if they really didn't give us any clues but it definitely had me fooled.
Christian was a little distracting. In a good way. ;)

Although, as soon as whatsisname told whatisface that he had to place bets using multiple online bookies I had a feeling they were all Hardison's.
But otherwise, haHA!
