Carols by Candlelight with lots of kids running a-muck around a local park!

One of those kids is my neice, Adelaide
(aged 6). She's appointed herself the Town Candlelighter and is having a great time tearing around the place with her mates, ensuring the townsfolk's candles are burning brightly. :)

It was really nice. Couldn't really hear the carols for the kids running around shouting but they had fun! :)

Does that mean your niece will eventually work her way up to twirling actual flaming batons, or is her glow stick just conveniently baton-shaped and therefore must be twirled?

It was a lot of fun. I can only post one picture at a time from my phone otherwise I would have included a photo of my baton twirling niece as well. ;)

Eloise had two glow sticks and she was holding them both up and then bending down and holding them low and then standing up with them above her head, and then repeating the whole process. She definitely had some kind of routine worked out in her head. :D
