Oh, sorry, didn't mean to sound so ominous! Yes, everything's totally fine -- I had most of it locked down anyway (except for the odd handful of entries and a recipe or two), just thought I'd complete the job. What with all the LJ search tools out there these days, I don't want to make it any easier than it has to be to find any part of my LJ. (Although I really don't care much about the recipes, I must admit.) And then I thought I should make a sticky post so that people would know where to comment if they wanted to be friended. So it's all quite innocent, actually!

Sorry, no, I didn't mean to give that impression! Most of my LJ was already locked, I just thought I'd finish locking it all down; and then I figured I should make a header post so that people would know where to comment if they wanted to be friended. Nothing more sinister than that, really. :)
