Promises mean different things at different times. If the promise has become empty and meaningless to both parties, what kind of an agreement have you? I know I wanted to keep mine going forever, but it would either have cost me more than I could afford to lose, or it *might* have worked out - but by that point it wasn't my decision anymore. As he said, some are never 'ok' to break - you'll feel like hell doing it if you do, but moving on sometimes has to be done. It's your choice, your life, as hard as that sounds. And knowing a little about all the facets of the choice, I don't envy you the decision. MAke the choice that you feel you will regret least in the future. Not easy when you're down in it, but it's the only way to stay sane. Much love babe, call me if you need.
