Moose-Kateers!

The adorkable Moosquatch has spoken and named his followers Moose-Kateers.
Nice of him not to use the Dumas spelling, but the version that has my name in it. :D

That's what I ended doing tonight with this news.

Alas for classics lovers, I think the play on words was referring to Mouseketeers, i.e. the members of the Mickey Mouse club, which itself was originally a play on "musketeers." :)

I'm aware of that. :D
And fitting for that referrer this one was originally a picture of Micky Mouse & Goofy ;)

The only thing not totally clear here - where does the A really come from.
The original Dumas version Musketeer has the E, and I saw both Mousekateer and Mouseketeer for the MMC version.
Not sure, which they officially used. SuperWiki writes them with the A though.

As for that, I have no idea. I suspect the 'a' was probably originally a misspelling that got accepted somewhere along the line.

Good for me :D That's one misspelling that I don't mind ;)

No problem - I posted it public on Twitpic after all.

Super! I thought you had but there's no harm in checking, right.

And thank you for that.
Better like this than the opposite - reposting flocked posted photos at a public place without asking first, although the matching posts have clear "don't repost without my permission" notes.
