Rachel Hultin was quoted in the article as being "mortified and offended" by it. Generally I ignore anyone who says they were mortified by anything. Pick up a dictionary sometime and see if mortified is an accurate description of any moment of your life. No matter what piece of art we're talking about, some will love it and some will hate it. I love Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, etc. But Warhol? Picasso? I can appreciate their innovations, their completely different take on the obvious, but worthy of such acclaim and price? But I'm not "mortified and offended" by Warhol's soup cans. Get a grip and a life lady. Don't look at the thing as you fly by it in your Lexus drinking Starbucks.
