Hermione walked into Ginny's kitchen and glanced over her shoulder. "What's the matter with Harry?" she asked.
Ginny looked up and smiled. "He has cramps." She stirred the cauldron bubbling gently on the cooker. "I'm fixing him some of that special tea that Mum taught us to brew."
Hermione wrinkled her brow. "He would probably do better with a laxative. That tea isn't just for cramps, Ginny. It's a special blend of herbs…" she began.
Ginny rolled her eyes at her friend. "Honestly Hermione, sometimes you are so Percy-ish. I'm perfectly aware of its use. Trust me, this is exactly what Harry needs."
As Ginny poured the concoction into a mug and carried it into Harry who was still resting of the sofa, moaning occasionally, Hermione mentally reviewed the herbs and leaves used to brew the drink and decided that they wouldn't harm him.
Hermione heard Ginny speaking sweetly to Harry. "This should help with the cramps and the bloating and the headache." Ginny began walking back toward the kitchen, but paused en route. "Harry, I hope you learned your lesson and we don't have to do this again next month."
Harry mumbled something in answer that Hermione couldn't quite hear.
As soon as Ginny stepped into the kitchen Hermione began quizzing her. "Ginny Potter, what did you do to your poor husband?"
Ginny snorted. "Nothing he didn't deserve. This morning he groped my breast and I asked him nicely to not do that since they were sore. And he did it again." Ginny paused and a slightly evil grin crossed her face. "So I decided that this month he could experience my PMS. I said this amazingly simple spell and now he is going to be miserable for the next few days."
Hermione's mouth dropped open. "There's an actual spell for that?"
Ginny smirked and said, "As of half-six this morning there is."
Hermione bit her lip, contemplating her next question. "Would you teach it to me?"
Ginny laughed, thinking about her brother in misery.
