Basil has been a fan of The Wildhearts for half his life, and they were the first band he ever saw live - he was fourteen. Although they had a few minor "hits" in England in the 1990s and appeared on Top of the Pops a few times, they've been mostly unheard of elsewhere in the world. Great blog! I wanted to comment on basically every paragraph.

- That "BEN LEEEEE!" guy rules.

- The lone dancing Scot also rules.

- wtf, Muscle Car frontman?! So did you pour out your drink then, or keep drinking? I hope you don't get sick. :P

Ben Lee guy: you'd feel differently if you were standing next to him.

The drunk Scot was okay while dancing, but he was so desperate to shake the hands of the band members that he would have knocked me over if I hadn't moved out of his way of my own accord. And he still knocked some plastic cups off the stage and onto my feet.

I had a cup of Coke and a cup of water, and I didn't drink anymore of the Coke because I could actually see some of the drops of water that had been spit into my cup, sticking to the sides. I think I took one sip of the water (which was full at the time the spitting occurred) later on in the show when I needed some hydration.

I AM awesome.
