Re #2: When are you hoping to do this? I think you should totally do it, but I feel like it would be really hard to go back to school after being out of it for a year. Is studying abroad an option?

Studying abroad isn't possible for me. The problem is that, at least here, you have to be fluent in the language of the country you visit, and that rules out a lot of places I want to visit. The other problem is that science courses don't transfer back to American med/vet schools, so I'd have to take only lib arts, which doesn't work with my schedule. The closest I'll get is if I get a summer job abroad, but that's unlikely. And even if I could, I couldn't travel everywhere I want to go. So essentially my life is complicated when it comes to travel.

Aww. But you should definitely try to fit it in at some point.

Haha, of course I did! I'm obsessed with studying abroad!
