Jin's tour is going to hell - Gossip

Nov 11, 2010 14:29

The verdict is out on Jin's tour, and it's not good. Check out the latest Jin-bashing gossip over here at zurui_koi. Btw it's not me bashing him, it's the Japanese media. Just thought I would clear that up before anyone comes riding into my journal in Knight's armour ~.^

hmm, even with only 400 people in a small venue that would most likely only cost between 15 and 20 thousand a night to rent (I am an event planner, so I am used to looking at a lot of venues).... at about $100 a pop... even minus other expenses he is still coming out on top. So tell me again how he is failing? And several of the other concerts sold a lot more tickets than that. I applaud his effort and motivation for wanting to try and pursue his dream, whether he makes it in the US or not, and with the lack of advertising on these shows it is not shocking that more tickets were not sold. I am a fan of KAT-TUN and of Jin and just because I like one does not mean I must shun the other. I hope for the best for all the boys

Why do people like to see other people fail..? I'm not a big fan of Jin or KAT-TUN, but hearing a news like this makes me sad ( ... )

amen to that my dear.

The only thing that makes me smile is that at least Jin is trying to reach out for his dreams with a smile. Though I had the feeling that this will eventually happen, I still want to support him...because he is happy doing this. That is enough for me.

sold out tickets or not... what matters most is, he did his best, he followed his dreams, he did what makes him happy.

about the lipsync thingy, mariah carey always doing that everytime she had a concert... the fact that she is one of the most famous singers in hollywood.

okay, given... maybe the outcome of his concerts didn't reached the expected sales or whatever, but why focused on the negativity?

keep on trying jin, someday, you'll get there!!!
it's just a matter of time. hold on to your dreams and have them all come true:)

How could they say he failed? They should know Jimusho well. What did they invest in these shows? IMO only the "venue rental"!!! Jin used old costumes, most of all props are from LA con. Jin made his songs with his friends. Posters that they sell should be used for promotion. Few promotion, bad marketing. Moreover, they use Jin's con to promote their Int'l fanmails. What did they lost I wonder?

Jin did well. I believe he tried hard and supporting from his fans made these tours happened. His smile when he's on stage is the most important for the fan like me. I love Jin and KAT-TUN to death. I will continue supporting them no matter what.

that was a pretty harsh piece of thrash ehem gossip.
Jin Akanishi is a musical genius in my books so I'm
happy he is getting a shot at some solo activity in
the usa. He will do just fine even after all of
these is over. Have this gut feeling Johnny was
using him to test the us entertainment market's
openess to their talents. lack of promotion, spoty marketing support
from UTB, Johnny Jimusho and his US promoters is to
blame really. But he looks effin happy performing live
doing what he does best for his fans. I say old man
Johnny get some pointers from Kpop's SMEntertainment
and JYPEntertainment on how to promote their talents
in the US even if these idols don't speak english
as well as Jin. You go Jin, I love you no matter
what!
