I got another e-mail the other day from a Mystique archivist asking me for "What They Deserve". That makes it the third, unless I'm mistaken. And while I'm immensely happy and proud and whatnot, I just don't *get* it. I assume these people make archives because they have some comics knowledge of Mystique and like her character. Why then ask for a

...movieverse Mystique is a complete cipher, very different from comicverse Mystique, and in order for a comicverse Mystique fan to like her, we have to try to invent her in our heads. A good job of inventing her which explains who she is in movieverse and keeps some of the stuff that makes her interesting in both universes will work for us
