Forever, by Maggie Stiefvater.
I started reading Forever only a couple of days before an employee at Swedish zoo Kolmården was killed by wolves, so that was a weird disconnect to have, reading the book

Amy/Leslie, OTP. I never thought of that. Probably not much romance, just straight to business, with a shared google calendar for future appointments. Amy would probably be frustrated with the lack of romance, but Leslie would probably b ecool with her continuing to try to date Sheldon.
Why hasn't this happened yet?

Absolutely! And Sheldon would be jealous, which would make Amy agitated, but trying to reason with him, and Leslie would watch with amused detachment.

I don't have time to write it. I wonder if I can bribe someone.

I missed some of the eps when they first introduced Amy, but didn't her sexuality turn on more as she got to know Penny?

yeah, it conflicted with The Vampire Diaries and some show my roomate was recording, so I missed the progression for a while and watched whatever I watched on reruns.
