Yes, I remember it well. In our tarpaulin-covered hole in the ground, Modesty was about the only kick-ass female you could find anywhere. (Except for Pippi, of course.)

I think little girls fall into another category, but when it came to adult women, the looking-down-our-noses-at-pop-culture approach of the people in charge may not have helped with the kickass-ness.

Of course, all that means is that there are about 100 candidates for day 18. *sighs*
