I decided I wanted a Librarian Action Figure. After checking a whole bunch of sites that wouldn't ship to Sweden, and Ebay that wouldn't even let me in since it's been so long since I created the account (they claimed they'd call but then didn't, meh), I found that it was available in the amazon marketplace. A deluxe model with international ( Read more... )

You could alter another action figure to make your own Librarian figure - I think you have leet craft skills for working at doll size.

I could, but that wouldn't be as much fun as having the real thing. :-) But thanks for the compliment!

It's not Mary Sue in the sense that Amanda is particularly awesome - on the contrary, she cocks things up left and right and the other characters often thinks she's crass and vulgar. But it's Mary Sue in the sense that she comes from our world and lands in Pride and Prejudice, causing the entire story to warp around her. :-)

That's an actual Nemi strip? As writer of Sylar fic, and a fan of Nemi, that fills me with so much glee.

Would you? That's awesome! Thank you so much. It's a few dollars cheaper on Amazon, if that would work for you. Is PayPal ok or should I send money directly to your account?

Yay Lost in Austen! I loved it so much! It was so incredibly enjoying actually liking Wickham and Caroline!

But I wonder, if it had been a fanfic, how many Mary Sue reports would it have caused? Just proves that everything can be done well!

And Kitty and Lydia are often horrible (well, I suppose they kind of are in the book), but they were absolutely lovely! I adored Florence Hoath in Doctor Who and The Cazalets and Perdita Weeks in Hamlet and Sherlock Holmes. I haven't seen the Rag Nymph. Should I try finding it? Oh, I just realised it has her older sister too, who is brilliant, so clearly the answer is yes. :)

I know, they were so awesome! And that tricksiness with the handkerchief made me purr. *g*

Truth be told, I think even the most un-Sue character is a pain in the hands of a hack. :-)

I'm a little shocked at their names - their parents must be very special people. *g* Anyway, that's beside the point. Yes, you could watch The Rag Nymph if you want. It's a piece of romantic melodrama, so take it for what it is and expect nothing more. :-) But the characters are likeable and hawt, which is the important bit. (If you have trouble finding it, I could *cough* help.)
