So, morthel and I were talking about how the same actresses get to play lesbians/bisexuals over and over again, and that led to wondering if the same was true about actors, which led to the conclusion that it's different for men because gay male characters don't get to make out to the extent that lesbian characters get to. Madonna has kissed Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Gwyneth Paltrow. I think the girl-kissing is all fine because to a patriarchal society, lesbianism is just performance for the boys anyway!

Yeah, I was thinking of the Madonna/Britney kiss, but then I wasn't sure if Madonna was straight or bi. Because it doesn't count if she's bi. *g* But then, it seems a lot of people think "bi" is shorthand for "will kiss to turn the boys on" anyway.

If you don't mind musicians, there's the infamous kiss between Bruce Springsteen and Clarence Clemens on 'Thunder Road'. And this was back in the '70s! He repeated it numerous times on-stage and it's a fan favorite. There's a dip and a liplock that lasts for a while.

I am currently searching for the clip and will give you any more that I can think of. I may have some videos I can upload.
