As I've said before, I'm doing that meme of watching 500 TV episodes in a year, gacked (for my part) from utopian_sky. This month, I have seen way more than my share. *blushes* Of course, the whole "being swallowed alive by Jericho" towards the end didn't help. (My thoughts on Jericho need to be a post of their own.) Oh, thank god. I was just compiling my own list, and I have something over 70 too. I was a little bit horrified by myself, but now I feel better. :)

Night Five - Jed has an incredibly dull therapy session, Toby and Andy have a shouting match, C.J. gets involved in a futile attempt to rescue an abducted reporter from the Congo, Donna's offered a job at an internet startup, and Ainsley resurfaces to slap around non-lipstick-wearing forms of feminism.

The views on feminism was one problem, as was the views on foreign policy and... well, I can't remember everything now, but there were more things.

Oh, right, that one! Don't remember much, except that the therapy session was indeed incredibly dull, and it made me dislike Ainsley, whom I had rather adored up until then.

I think the trouble with the therapy session was that it brought back memories from Noël, which was a wonderful episode where the therapy was essential to understanding what was going on, while in this ep the therapy taught us nothing we didn't already know and was completely unimportant to the main story.

And Ainsley was quite horrible (I usually liked her too), but I think the main WTF of the feminism angle was that while Sam was busy explaining how he totally wasn't sexist, he off-handedly razzed Charlie about being beaten by his little sister at basketball - a sister, mind, who played varsity basketball. But she's a girl, so it's embarrassing if she beats you.

Right. Nothing sexist there.

LOL! No. But if I ever get rich enough to go to America again I'll hold you to that. ;-)
