unlike Jim Profit, I can't seem to turn off the TV :-)

I've been quite busy this week, which might be why I came home yesterday to find my hard drive full of unseen TV eps. Having caught up (somewhat), here are thinky thoughts:

Reaper
Ray Wise is still amazing. ( spoilers )

ugly betty, supernatural, reaper, profit, sarah jane adventures, tv talk

I would have liked to see Profit go for a full season, to find out where they were planning to take it, but the fact that it exists at all blows my mind in more ways than I can say. I think it goes places where even the HBO shows today have not gone, and a great deal of that is thanks to the complexity of Pasdar's performance, which, yeah... My sheer respect for his talent and skill is boundless.

In case you don't know it already, I recommend boxofwrong for Profit related fic and meta. There are some excellent discussions linked from there.

In regards to us meeting up, I'll be away till the middle of next week, but maybe we could do Monday the 22nd or 29th? :)

Ooh, thank you! Fic and meta for this show sounds like it could be quite a treat.

So good! So rich and good and... *flail*

I'm inches away from sending him a note that says, "Plz to stop making me wants to do u, kthnxbai. *glomps*"

Why is it that people who are totally fucking awesome even to begin with still can find ways to become more awesome at every turn?

Either works for me. 29th is during the school holidays, which means I can arrange my hours so I don't have to get up the next morning if you want to do something in the evening. (On the 23rd I have to get up at 5.15 which kind of limits choices on the 22nd to things that will allow me to be home in bed around nine or so.)

Gah, sorry for taking so long on this. I haven't been home and have been a bit disorganized.

Should we say the 29th? Either afternoon or evening is good for me, really. So you can pick the time and the activity if you like. :)

Btw, I read the first chapter of your Nathan story, but didn't have time to comment. It completely floored me when I realized what you were doing; I can't wait to see where it's heading.

29th it is! Now I just have to remember it - I seem to have misplaced my calendar. (I do things like that kind of a lot.)

By then, I'll have money again, so I'm tempted to say a movie - or is that too date-like and expensive? We can always grab a coffee somewhere, or you could come here and I'd cook something. (Of course, we can watch stuff here too. The computer's in the hallway, but if we want something non-legal we can always move the sofa.)

I don't know. What do people do who know each other well yet meet for the first time? :-)

Thanks! I honestly can't say when the next chapter will be ready to be posted; hopefully within a few days.

What was it that floored you? The storyline or the location? *grin*

Reaper. I'm debating whether to stick with it. I don't think I like enough of the characters and I keep complaining to myself that it's not dark enough for the plot. Yet, for some reason I keep telling myself just one more week. Maybe it'll shape up then.

I was not okay with them showing the dad fall on the saw. I epped and covered my eyes. I think they could have done with just showing some blood splatter on the wood. I would have been fine with that.

I like Sock and the Devil and am quite fond of the cheerful quirkiness, so I'm okay watching it, even if it's not a must-see.

Just knowing it would happen really freaked me out.
