Wow, I love the lyrics now that I know the translation. It's a beautiful piece of music even without knowing.

I think Supernatural could be a hard show to fanvid (I've only watched one other SPN fanvid I think.), but this was well done. There were many places where I thought you cut from one scene to another very well. Excellent job.

I love Cornelis like whoah, and this is musically speaking one of his best songs - a lot of what he's done has great lyrics but is meant to be half-spoken rather than sung. This tune sounds so very much like an old Swedish folk song, and the lyrics are heartbreaking, IMO.

I think Supernatural could be a hard show to fanvid (I've only watched one other SPN fanvid I think.)

I don't have much comparison, seeing how I've only made one vid before. This was easier than the Angel vid in that I had more source to choose from, doing a whole season rather than nine eps and main chars instead of sidekicks.

There are some lovely SPN fanvids out there, though I can't claim to have watched most of what's being made. I could give you a few recs if you'd like?

*wibbles* Oh, this is gorgeous. The song is wonderful, and I recognized mother and father even before I saw the translation. Ah, the family angst, it owns me. Gorgeous work.

Thank you! I'm so happy you like it. After all the glorious family angst (and laughter - I'll have to work on that) you've given me it's nice to be able to give something back.

Also, I love that a side-effect of this vid is that I can pimp my Cornelis love. *g*
