Some of you already know this, but I didn't want to make a public post until I had negotiated for a salary, and gotten up at 5.45. in the morning to catch the bus to Malmö, and met all the teachers, and signed a bunch of papers, and gotten a new e-mail addy and five keys and more info than my poor brain can handle

Congratulations - and what a relief it must be!

Thanks! And yeah, it definitely is a relief. The market for librarians isn't very good - the unemployment rate for academics in general has gone up a lot. Which makes the government policy of higher education as a solution to all unemployment problems really dumb. ("Instead of just being unemployed, you can be uneployed with study loan debts!")

So having a job is really worth getting up at 5.45. in the morning. :-)
