Someone just used my Hurley icon on crack_van. That was a weird sensation, seeing it in use by someone else. Particularly since I can't remember whether or not anyone has ever asked my permission for that one

Urgh, that's so rude ! I looked at their user info and the icon is not credited to you. Ok fair enough sometimes you just have an icon and you've forgotton to label where it came from, but then just state so otherwise it looks like you're claiming it's yours !

Perhaps a polite email ?

Nah, I don't really mind - the only thing that bothers me is that I can't remember if I was asked or not. Usually people ask and then I never see the icons again anyway (except that I have noticed that eloise_bright does indeed use the Wes icon she asked me for), so it's not really worth remembering.

Not getting credit is kind of a turn-on, in a way. I'm an invisible influence, mwahaha!

Thanks. It was a bit bitchier than I like to be these days, but I couldn't help myself. Being a spoiler virgin is one thing, but being an incredibly rude, self-obsessed spoiler virgin is another thing entirely.
