Great! Thank you! Colour would probably help - to make sure people recognize the bloody tampon as being a bloody tampon - but if you think you can convey the message in black and white, that's fine too. (And obviously, you can draw it as large as you like, as long as it can be changed into 100x100 pixels and still look pretty.)

Of course it's disgusting. I said so from the start. :-)
