Intertextuality and creepiness

You know, one thing that makes watching films and television more interesting is seeing known actors in new parts. This is particularly interesting if the actor is so ingrained in my mind with one part that he somehow remains that person even when he's doing a completely different character ( Read more... )

I know. I watch that ep and I'm all "Bad decision. Bad. Very bad." *grin*

Which was one reason I loved the crossover series "Donna the Vampire Slayer" in which the two characters actually *are* the same guy.

It was really funny, because I was watching Judging Amy and immediately went "Eugh! Don't date him!" before I even realized who the actor was. :-)
