I wish more people would grasp that very simple concept - or is it that simple after all since very few eem to grasp it?

It makes the concept of heaven very complicated, that's for sure. :-)

Have you read Coraline? If not, you really should - basically, she enters a world where everything is much better than in her own, and it's a creepy-ass place.

I just might because I haven't yet - but I encounter the post-post-industrial "Happiness Myth" daily. And it scares the living daylight out of me. Honestly, when you have done, seen and owned all, what's there left but nothingness? When there's nothing left to strive for, that must be a very special kind of hell - and even my own blurry concept of what Heaven might be like (a place where you re-live all your happy moments) don't hold up in the long run. You simply cannot recognize bliss if you haven't seen sorrow and also; happiness is such a subjective state of mind.
