Kidnapped to where? Caim told me we were in the land of the Gods, but I was hoping it was more of a metaphor than a reality.

We're on a ship, that the mute man told me was in the land of the Gods, and the brightly dressed man told me was underground. I haven't seen outside either way, though I don't think I'd know what the land of the Gods would even look like, but are either of those answers correct?
