Yay, butterflies! :) And that sculpture is neat.

Lots of work, but I'm sure you'll get it done! Good luck!

It's not an emergency, but you do want to get it taken care of ASAP, definitely. BTW, they apparently get those from eating fleas -- you've had her for a short enough time, I think, that it could have been at her previous home. Keep an eye out anyway and make sure to put her on some sort of flea/tick/worm prevention (doesn't prevent or cure tapeworms, but the other kinds are much more serious).

I'm glad you've been feeling better about life! I know what you mean about not keeping with the budget. Meep. It's hard! Taking some time to get things sorted and have 'me' time sounds really nice. :)

=) I do wish I'd taken the time to get a better picture - it's funnier if you can actually read what the butterflies are 'saying', but oh well. It's hard for me to tell how good something is going to come out on my camera, for some reason, and I didn't upload the pics to my computer unti the next day, so I couldn't re-take 'em without cheating. Oh well ( ... )

Aw! I have that problem on my camera, too. The screen makes things brighter, and of course so much smaller... I guess it's better than the old days of not know 'til you got it back from the photo lab, though. ;) I tend to take a lot of shots so I can pick the best.

Yay! That'd be cool. I need to plan a trip up there! I'm also contemplating when to go to Tampa. I'm going to coordinate with Dad, since it'll be easier to visit Grandpa if he's there, too.

Oh good! If you can, get a carrier with two openings, one on the front and one on top. That has been a lifesaver with Abby. Much easier to drop her in and shut it than push a cat through a horizontal opening.

Woo! Yay! Yeah, I have the same issue tonight -- Tech is playing Miami, so I'm putting off all my Thursday shows 'til after the game. CSI and The Office will probably happen this weekend. So it goes!

In answer to the cat dandruff.. no my cat hasn't had it, but yes they can get it. Dry scalp... that's all it is really it's also dander... brushing her might help keep some of it down as well as vacuuming more often...

On the worms issue.. you can get a deworming done at the vet. A tech can do it or you can ask for Revolution (flea med). it kills round worm (like what kitty might have), ticks, fleas, ear mites and so on. It is a monthly application on the back of the neck. I did that for aramis when he had mites... *grumble grumble*

Sending love to you and kitteh!

I didn't know cats could get that! I've suspected my Abby has been fighting dry skin or at least skin allergies this fall, though, which is related. Hmm, vacuuming more often is probably a good idea...

From what she's said and my experience, Miribella has tapeworm, which Revolution won't kill. However, I'm seconding suggestion to get that, in addition to the deworming, because it does take care of a lot of the problems. I need to get another six month pack for Abby.

*loves love!*

I've been trying to brush her pretty regularly, but it doesn't seem to be helping much. I may have the wrong kind of brush for her hair length. Yet another thing I need to ask the vet about. I should make a list tonight, so I'm prepared. Made an appointment for the little one for tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully all will be answered and taken care of before work tomorrow. =)

I definitely do need to vacuum more often, cat or no cat.

*love!*
