Neat update! IMO, you've nailed the tension between the MoG and Spike, and the tension between Angel and Spike.

Aw, thank you so much for reading and commenting! Hopefully I can keep the pressure on. I've always wanted to see these relationships play out -- there are so many similarities between these very different people. They really fascinate me and I hope that continues to come through.

Thank you so much, Cheri! I do love these guys all together with their various dysfunctions and hidden kinks and beautiful messiness. I think that had they allowed Spike and Fred more time on screen together, he would continue to enthrall her.

Sandra, I can't thank you enough for those comments. It *finally* reads how I meant it and I think says so much that foreshadows what will come. I think I'm winging the next chappie. You guys helped me on it last year (can't believe this has been going on for so long) and I think it's about as solid as it is going to be.
