lost and found...

My late rabbit Mikebo, who has been dead for more than one year now, was a gentle, rather carefree bunny. She let us hold her anytime and liked to be petted by our hands or feet(!), I and my family were so accustomed with such "friendly" rabbit.

It sounds like Mr Uma really loves you, and shows it the best way he can. Do rabbits have scratchy tongues like cats?

I'm not sure for I have never touched by cat's tongues XD
But I think Mr.Uma's tongue is quite smooth...

I understand very well. We also had a very gentle big cat, a pillow more than a cat...he was murdered.
Now we have had Tygr for almost 9 years and he is something like Mr.Uma - never settles for a long time, always alert and often aloof. Still, he is himself and he is a true memeber of our family like our poor Tomáš used to be.
Mr. Uma is also a "personality" and he is very nice too:-)

yeah... every cat or rabbit has its own personality and each of them are lovable. I'm sorry to hear about your gentle cat, his name is Tomas?

My previous cats have all been very cuddly and affectionate; the current ones not so much, so I know how you feel. Sebastian snuggles up beside me on the couch and in bed, but the two girls are not very often in the mood for cuddles, and not for long when they are. I still would never give them up though; they playful and amusing and I do love them a lot.

I think such difference of character is also fun of having pet animals. Your Sebastian sounds very lovely cat.

Sebastian is adorable! I had such long cuddles in bed with him today. One of the reasons I got him was because I wanted a cat who'd be happy to cuddle any time, and also to be a buffer with the girls who had started fighting (though thy loved each other as kittens). He gets on well with them both; he really is a sweetie.
