As though to tease me, the weather got briefly better today, only to turn cold again. But that is all right, because I still got a bike ride, a chat with a friend in a graveyard, and a dinner with said friend in cute local brewery inn, so that was a good day ( Read more... )

I can do a mean impersonation of Ewan McGregor's singing voice too. ;)

It's because Neil's voice has a nice English gravitas. I almost have to reach for "portentous" when I imitate him. When read in our girlish American-ish voices, the wrecktasticness of his poetry is revealed in all its terrible glory.

I dislike chick lit as a rule, but I recently CE'd a decent book that I think approximately fits into that genre, a British book called Busy Woman Seeks Wife. I had to Americanize it too, so if you do read it let me know how well you think I did.
