Philadelphia in list form, not necessarily chronological order

Driving around scary dark streets and getting lost for an hour--not so good.

Doing all that just to go to a vegetarian restaurant that seves mainly fish and cheese and had only one actual vegetarian dish? Very not good

City or university? Because you don't actually have to pay university tickets if you don't go there!

the Upenn Police are an actual, armed subset of Philadelphia police with as much authority (imagined, though I guess it all is) to uphold their law.

Maybe so, but colleges and universities still can't suspend your license the way city governments can. The only way they can escalate is by threatening your access to some part of the university (like your diploma if you're an ungraduated student or your job if you work there).

City. :-/ Apparently, I can read a parking sign 3 times and still think it says "Monday, Thursday, Sunday" as opposed to "Monday through Sunday." (The sign as it was printed was MON THRU SUN.)
