Ok so, the last few days my hometown (and most of the state) have had flooding rains, and still have them. I just heard that some towns/cities in the states have had tornadoes. It's pouring out here as well. I hadn't heard about the tornados though. How awful, I didn't know anywhere here got tornados either. O_O

I checked, and the town that had 3 tornadoes is Bunderberg. That's not terribly far from my town, all things considered.
Apparently there has been inland tsunamis as well; I didn't know those things even existed! *worry hands*

I rang my friend whose parents live at Bundy and she said no, it was more towards the coast. So I hope that's still the case as my news says 100 homes up there have been flooded.

DH and DS were having there 'boys time' get away at the Gold Cost this weekend, and they have to stay another night now due to the 60K winds. Wasn't much of a getaway for them.

Tsunamis? Wow. This is why I'm happy to live inland.
