HEHE! YAY! I'm so glad you like it! I struggled when trying to figure out how to work these two, but when I came up with the idea of them as bickering rival reporters forced to work together ... yeah, it just started rolling and wouldn't stop! The first section wrote itself in a manner of, like, 8 minutes. (Admittedly, I'm usually pretty solid when writing banter between two characters I get, so I was playing to my strengths!) But then I was sitting there thinking that I was NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE TO AN ENDING and that it would take me thousands of words to do justice to the idea I'd just started ... so my plan was so skip the whole middle and come in again for a tiny glimpse after the chaos and getting them to work together. I'm glad that sort of worked for you ( ... )

Yay! I had so much fun with this. Snarky bickering and banter are definitely strengths of mine, so stuff like this comes so easily and is SUCH fun to write. I just love it! This is another one that I hope to expand on. Too many great ideas and not enough time! :)

This is awesome! I love this pairing, too, and you totally put in enough tension and hilarious banter to make it work. What a fun little piece! I would absolutely read more of this story if you decided to flesh it out someday.... ;)

Thanks! I love this pairing, too! I'd never written them before, so it was a little intimidating at first. But once I figured out the premise and started in with the bickering, everything was fine. If there's one thing I'm good at in writing, it's banter! And these two are simply made for witty repartee, snarky insults, and sass to the max. I love it! Both of them are so damn stubborn, arrogant, and mean when pushed, which makes them sooooo fun to write. I definitely want to come back to this and flesh it out. I think there's easily 3k of banter, bickering, and boorish insults alone here! ;-) Thanks for the lovely comment! (And I love your Christmas tree icon!)
