Notes: I always love these two and liked the blend of sweetness, silliness, and sadness in this one.

( Hermione promised they would light up similarly to fairy lights but with no fairies whatsoever. Ginny privately had her doubts. )

THANK YOU!!!! So much!!! I love the story and both Neville and Ginny's thoughtfulness in helping Hermione with the lights, but it was the poignancy at the end that really made the story sparkle. I absolutely love this!

YAY! I'm so glad you liked it. Yeah, I was very pleased with how I got to play the humor and then poignancy at the end. It balanced it well-- not too fluffy and not too sad. And I hadn't really thought about the similarities there until I was writing it and woah, there were powerful words happening!
