The whole story is wonderful but I just adore the opening - the way they're so calm and competent about their circumstances, but also still really sweet, you can tell they have been together for ages. Ahhh, this made me so happy :)

This was my first time writing long-term-established Chekov/Sulu, so I'm so glad that that feeling came across so well. This makes me happy too! :)
