That was lovely and had such a satisfying ending. I really liked how well you portrayed Dean's desperation when he wanted and needed to paint but just couldn't, not without help. And how, once he starts, he can't stop until everything is down on paper and he's told his story in pictures. It's like he's cleansing himself.

There's a sort of quiet no-nonsense way how Seamus deals with the situation and keeps pushing and pushing even though it is a risk that he's taking. I get the impression of two characters who are very brave in a way that's not often portrayed. I like it a lot. ♥

I'm so glad that you got all of that from this, because I really tried to make their strengths and risks a little bit more subtle (well, for me at least, queen of hitting people over the head with the theme stick!).

Seamus is love to write and this was an interesting interpretation of his bull-headed caring for me! And they are beautifully brave, these two. *cuddles them* Thank you so much!

There are two stick figures, and the short one is hugging the tall one fiercely. In the corner in Seamus' tiny, messy scrawl it says: Things are gonna get brighter. And there is a silly sun with a smiley face on it.

Oh, my heart. I also really liked the line about Seamus trying so hard to help Dean as a way to conquer his own demons.
