Awwww! I was really looking forward to this story, so I'm glad I finally got to read it!

I love the combination of astrology in here to represent Percy and the other Weasley. Percy's definitely an earth sign, and everyone else fits their sign well, too, you have beautifully written!

I think you may have just made me like Percy more, since he and I share the same elemental sign -- even if the air part of me doesn't understand Percy, the earth side of me does!

I am so happy that this made you understand Percy better and even like him more! That's about the highest praise I can get! :) Thanks, bb!

OMG OMG OMG

This is so awesome. I love this so much, you have no idea. This is incredibly thoughtful and makes so much sense. Your approach to these characters is unique, and at the same time you develop it so naturally that it should have been obvious.

Percy is desperate in his attempts to understand his family, and what I adore is that he never actually tries to change them. He sees the beauty and frustration in each of them, and tries to get closer to them, despite their differences. Percy's confusion/bafflement/admiration among all those other personalities feels so true to me.

And, oh, poor Percy, the book he gives them. It's such a private gesture, something that makes him vulnerable, and he knows that they won't ever realise what it is, maybe even judge him for his choice.

OMG. Those last two paragraphs killed me - well, actually they made me cry. It's ridiculous how much of an Earth sign I am.

Thank you so much for this. I love it to bits and pieces.

Oh my goodness, YAY! I'm grinning so much right now-- I'm so happy that you like it! This is my favorite of all the stories I ended up writing for these holiday fics this year. It took me by surprise but demanded that I write it and I love how it turned out, but I had that weird (and I know silly) niggling feeling that omg, what if she gets totally offended or I misrepresent all the signs or something. Bah, silly nervous Virgos ;-)

I'm so glad that you noticed that he doesn't try to change them, that he's just mentally trying to figure it all out, catalogue their differences, etc. And that you appreciated the present he gives them, because it seemed like such a Percy way of expressing himself, and he is so vulnerable, and they are going to roll their eyes and toss the books aside, just another boring book from Percy, and that kind of breaks my heart.

I'm thrilled to have affected you so much with this! That makes me so ridiculously happy. YAY YAY YAY! :D

What a unique and wonderful insight into the characters of Percy and the rest of the Weasleys! This rang very true. I love the book as a gift (of course, I'm a complete bookworm--I would ;) ) and their favorite color of bow. That's so sweet! I'm hoping Hermione reads the book and explains it to Ron (and maybe the rest of them). I think she'd see what Percy was trying to do . . . Great job!

Thanks so much! And yes, I actually thought that Hermione might be his only shot too! Let's hope that works. :)
