First of all -- WHY ARE YOU UP SO EARLY? When I saw the notification in my email, the first thought that came in my head after a big YAY was "Isn't it 6:00amish in central time zone right now?!"

Anyway, EEEEEEEEEEE! Thank you so much! I love swordfighting Draco and Neville, but even better is a swordfighting Neville (WHO SOUNDS SO EFFING HAWT) and a bow-shooting Draco. Just, EEEEEEEEEEE! The bow is such a Draco thing.

I also love your confident, witty, smooth-talking Neville. So perfect. And oh, man, he sounds so dreamy from Draco's perspective. I'm glad Draco has good taste because I so agree with his view of Neville.

And Draco's snarkiness with the McLaggen's brothers were on spot! Had me laughing with his highness jerkiness XD

This was wonderful, darling Katy! I'm sorry I threw in so many LotR stuff, but those really were all the things going through my mind then. Damn LotR/Hobbit fanfics! XD Hey, at least I didn't prompt you "video games" again! XD

THANK YOU AGAIN! This gift fic made my night!

This prompt was definitely easier for me than some of your previous ones! :-) Once I had the idea in my head of both of them taking lessons (Draco for self-defense and Neville because of the whole pulling out the sword thing making him think he needs to be a top notch swordsman) it all fell into place. I had a lot of fun with this one. And Conan was a hoot to write, even if he didn't get any lines. Having Draco describe him made me giggle all the way through. And I thought he was a good segue into an even hotter (and cleverer and wittier and-- in your, mine, and Draco's opinion-- better buff swordsman! ;-) hehe ( ... )

Ah, wonderful! I never would have thought of this, but very nice. I love the use of the name Conan coupled with the broadsword ;) I love the imagery of Draco with a bow, and of course Neville will always be hot with a sword!

Haha, I'm not sure I would have thought of this on my own, but the sword fighting and bow fighting a la Aragorn and Legolas was part of the prompt (and what I ran with) and then this whole concept came to me. I had such fun with Conan-- and I felt that I was almost JKR-ian in my naming of him. ;-) Glad you enjoyed it, bb!

Thank you! Flustered Draco is always fun to write, as then he often seems to act even snobbier and like more of a prat to cover it up!

Hee! Flustered!Draco is complete love. And who wouldn't be all blushy and flushed watching Neville with a sword, honestly. :DD

*nods* I agree completely on both counts. It's one of the ways I like Draco best and Neville with a sword ... *flails*
