This was sweet and nice and cozy for the holiday season.

what a beautiful slice of life in ginny & neville and their family.

the kids were all very cute (really curious as to Why of their names; except for colin which I can definitely guess...)

and Neville cooked! I can definitely see that happening!

a really great gift to read, thank you so much! :D

Yay! I'm glad you liked it. I definitely picture these two having a large family and as to their kids' names, there wasn't a lot of reason, I guess. Colin, yes. But otherwise I just sort of chose relatively normal sounding names. Harry is obsessed with naming his children after people but I don't know if Ginny or Neville would feel as strongly about it. Especially as their parents are all still alive and I don't think they'd take the name Fred, even if they had had a boy before George did. I dunno. :) So no real deep hidden meanings there!

I liked the idea of Neville cooking too! (To be fair, this was written before I knew you thought of Ginny as a good cook. In my head canon she's just not terribly interested in it, even if she isn't a bad cook in everything I write. But she's also not necessarily a bad cook at all in this (just not cooking tonight!), so I just left it as it was.)

I'm so pleased you liked it. :)

I like your reasoning (although to be fair to harry, James S. & Lily L. I understand. the other chosen name reeked of forced authorial intervention ( ... )
