I adore a cheeky Neville. :D
This was totally happy-making; I so enjoy a warm, teasing dynamic in this lovely pairing and I'd say you nailed it in four hundred (and one!) words. The cranberries masquerading as blood were an inspired seasonal touch, too! :)

The male and female leads were Charlie Cox and Kate Mara, and I've used Charlie Cox as the PB for my Neville in a roleplaying game, so that's how I came by this icon (and the movie). He makes a great Neville, and Kate Mara just fits as Ginny too. Look how perfect they are! <3 If you like the icon, feel free to take it and use it!

I'm of the opinion that Ginny is a decent cook, better than Hermione but not better than her own mother (or even Kreacher)
still, this was super cute!
I love Neville here and his interesting solution at solving ginny's problem.

I guess I see Ginny as capable of basic cooking but I doubt baking was her strong suit-- too precise and orderly. Plus, I just don't see her having much interest. And I could go either way on Hermione. She couldn't cook in DH, but she had NOTHING to work with. Knowing Hermione, she would have taken cooking classes when she got home. And the potions-like precision and "follow directions and get this result" aspect of baking seems much more Hermione's style. But there's no canon evidence one way or the other to prove anything like that, so we all get to imagine our grown up characters as we like!
Thanks. :) Neville's a star!

Oh, this is PERFECT! I love practical, sensible, yet loving Neville and his fear that the red on Ginny's face is blood until he discovers it's not. And his solution to Ginny's baking dilemma is genius.
Thank you so much! I love it!
