After being made redundant, my brother has found a new job! In Madrid! I'm already planning a trip to visit him and to eat lots of tapas.

Truth be told, I was getting worried about him. The relief is something, even if it mean that he has to move to another country.

That's fantastic! Even though it means you guys are going to be a bit 'scattered'. Ah well, enjoy traveling and living in new places for now and with any luck *crosses fingers* maybe the job market will perk up in a few years? :)

I knew he had been applying for jobs in Germany and France, but I had no clue he applied for jobs in Spain too. He doesn't speak any Spanish and their economy is worst than ours by a country mile! But I'm happy that he's found something, I could tell he was getting despondent. He leaves next Monday, so it's all happening super quick. One day he's here and we're making plans to hang out next weekend, and then it's all change. Life unexpected, eh?
