I spy... Maggie Smith! That trailer is beautiful -- I've got to start watching this. I just checked Netflix and S1 is available for instant view, so I have no excuse. :)

Maggie Smith/ Lady Grantham is the real star of the show, her character gets all the best lines. I'm just dying to quote some!! So quotable! But I won't spoil you :D

GET IT! WATCH IT!

I adore this show. I think I may be looking forward its return onto my screen more than Merlin :D The characters and storylines are pure soap, but the actors sometimes shift so it turns quite subtle and moving, and it's really beautifully filmed. The photography, the sets, the costumes...just really gorgeous to look at. Even if I hated the plots and characters. I would just watch it in mute.

That vid -- ha ha ha!! I seriously had a, 'Wait, is this real?' reaction for a few seconds. :D I'm loving all the knights and I can not WAIT for S4, I'm just that shallow. *g* (And can you believe that it's already S4? Seems like just yesterday I was getting all excited about this new show based on Arthurian legend that was going to be coming on!)

I've put Downton Abbey in my Netflix gueue... \o/
