I'm impressed you even managed to get into work! But I suppose, you've had hardcore training in Switzerland *g* I flailed around in the snow for about an hour and a half before giving up.
If it's any consolation, you're not missing much on daytime TV. Apparently half the BBC couldn't make into the studios and it's more or less snow-watch with 'SNOW? SNOW! OMG SNOW!'
I saw a pair of high heels at the station :D I understand it in a way, I don't really have an appropriate coat for snow. I have a coat for cold or a coat for wet. I don't have a coat for both at the same time! We're just don't have the mindset for snow, do we? I suppose because it's normally so brief and mild.
I'm already stressed about tomorrow because I know my boss won't be happy with two snow days in a row, but I'm not sure how I on earth I'm going to get to work! Especially if it does freeze. Ice is so much worse than snow.
Hope you have a safe journey into work on Tues (if you're going in!)
No, no, I can relate -- it's like I said to littledrop -- we have this much snow, or more, every year. Yet, each winter our road services are utterly surprised when snow falls, no matter how exact and accurate weather forecasts are, there are jams and accidents as the roads are not cleared. This year they even said -- we didn't go on with clearing the roads because we didn't want to get in a way of the cars ... seriously, they said that. So, yeah -- go and make a snowman. *g* It's fun.
Hee, it's good to hear that it's not just us being rubbish then. Although I suspect it's a sekrit ploy - Hmm, let's pretend to be surprised, even though we've been warned, and get a snowday to make snowmen!

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow morning if it freezes overnight. :-(
