Historical Note

Mom always says celebrities die in threes, and the last week has borne that out.

Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson all passed away in the last few days.

Ed was cool, I didn't really know anything much about Farrah as she was before my time, and Michael was...very, very, very weird. So, yeah.

Nothing else interesting to say at the

current events

I was honestly sad about all three of them, Michael included. I could not stand what the guy turned into but we can't deny that the dude was a legend. The same goes with Ed and Farrah.

Yeah, he was very talented, and in his heyday he was something to be admired. The last decade or so...one ticket to bizarretown, please!

And I just read that "As Seen on TV" spokesman Billy Mays died, too! Starting another trio of celebrity deaths?

Awww, that's sad. True the guy was annoying, but deep down I kind of liked Billy Mays. :( Hopefully it won't be followed by any other deaths to make it a trio...though I wouldn't complain if it were Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh.

I hope that's not too mean of me. ;)

Heh... Mean, yes. Too mean....naaaaaah.

I saw a horrible joke online that made me laugh, then slap myself for laughing. "They say celebrities die in threes, but if you act now we'll throw in Billy Mays for free!"

Apparently Ed died a pauper. Died with almost nothing.

See, that's what happens when you piss money away like crazy because you think it will always last. Let this be a lesson, kids. Save your dough if you ever make celebrity wages.

I can't save anything, but if I made that kind of dough, I'd be hard pressed to see how anyone could spend that much money. [/rant]
