So after seeing my friendlist filled with a constant parade of icons, fanart, drabbles and general squee-age for the last year or more, I finally decided to check out Avatar: The Last Air Bender. I figured if so many people who share my tastes in books, movies and other fandoms are enamored with this show, I would probably like it, too

BTW, they all die in episode 7. The rest of the series is filler.

Oh sorry, I thought you were asking which fandoms you should check out. I skimmed over that.

But yeah, if you want recommendations, Mad Men is my current favorite.
