I just ran across this webcomic that is probably old news to some people, but it made me laugh a lot. It's called The DM of the Rings, and it's the Lord of the Rings told through a bunch of tabletop gamers. It's really clever how the gaming conventions are twisted around to fit the plot, and it manages to follow the original story (more or less)
