Well, I read The Phantom of Manhattan by Frederick Forsythe. I had heard it was utter trash but I had to see for myself. Yay for the library--no money gambled on the darn thing

Must love the Maya. You ought to read her Badger series - it's a trilogy. Stars Zacharias Smith and Draco.

LOL! I've been avoiding Troy stuff until I actually see the movie. Not that I'm not familiar with the basic plot. ;)

Wow, I'm such a dunce I just now noticed that it was a community instead of a personal journal. LOL! I just joined and will post the review & link soon. :)
I plan to read the Angel of the Opera next, and then re-re-read the Susan Kay novel. I just finished the original Leroux novel before reading this Manhattan dreck. I should go back and write something about that, too...
It's a really fun idea for a community, and I've already expanded my "to read" list. :)
